A coupla thoughts...
It's not everyday that you receive a call from some anonymous person asking you to go for a job interview. Therefore, when I received this similar call yesterday afternoon, my spirits elevated instantly, which resembled a rush of adrenaline being injected into me.
It seems like a nice enough job, as a technical support officer. Job scope includes handling of toubleshooting enquiries from customers, in a call centre environment, and training will be provided. The pay's a knockoff, at 9 bucks per hour, so what more do I have to think abt? The problem/issue that lies includes a 9 mth contract, and in the case of a resignation, I'll have to reimburse the company whatever salary issued to me, until after the 9 mths' due. Seriously, I won't wanna take this risk, but I'll go down for the interview tmr and see how it goes. There's this choky feeling of being tied up in a room, where ya being fed & everything, but you can't step out of that room for 9 full mths. The thought's rather scary ain't it? Yeah well whatever...
Was discussing with my fren abt wanting to go for a trip, either Hong Kong or Bangkok, since both are shopping paradises haha. Well, we'll need to save up first in order to execute that plan, and I was marvelling abt another cruise trip yesterday, well another one for my other frenz, but the first one for me haha. It so happens that my other frenz all had their cruise trip onboard Superstar Virgo in 2002, after O lvls, but my mum had warned me from going anywhere near water that year due to some superstitious act of hers. Well, even up till now, I strongly believed that she cooked up some nonsense reason to prevent me from going overseas with my frenz. Actually the primary reason I wanted to go onboard the cruise is bcos I wanted to experience being on my own astro sign cruise, the scared Virgo :P.
Hmm..Our clique decided on the innovative idea of having a BBQ nite on fri. It was supposed to be a 2D1N chalet at east coast, but apparently they dun cater to a 1 night stay during weekends, so there goes, our chance was blown off just like that. Stupid costa sands. What's worse, mins earlier, my fren called and told me the east coast bbq pit still available for booking is situated in the far end of the park, a spot where nobody will ever ever stroll over. Looks like we hit a bad patch. The rest of the more crowded and lively spots have all been booked. But being the determined us, we have decided to go ahead with the booking no matter no how far, dark & unattached-looking the place is. Haha...
