Just another day...

There's an invisible tension arising at work recently. I can't put my finger on the problem but I have a premonition some kinda commotion might be coming into the scene soon, that's gonna affect me maybe. It seems to me that everybody has been acting weird for some unknown reason. Also, I have the impression that I'm being left out for alot of things, and find myself an extra in the office for more than once already. Maybe I'm just being paranoid lah huh, and I hope that's true too, but on the other hand I can't help thinking that I'm just a temp and that there's nothing much I have control over. So i guess I'll just have to take things as they come.

Oh by the way frenz, I've already taken out my song from my blog, so don't sit there and wait for the song to start playing cos it won't even if you wait for a 100 years. Just thought that I should inform u guys about it.

N I wanna watch Nanny McPhee, Brokeback Mountain and Cry Wolf. Final Destination 3 too actually. I hope you pals have heard my pleas..I wanna go KL in April, anybody wanna join?

Rubbish written on the spur of the moment

My Bleak Future

Staring up at the ceiling lined with dust
Twiddling my fingers with my head toward the window
A feeling of anonymity washed over me
What will I be in ten year’s time?

Cars honking fervently out on the road
Thick, fragrant smell of curry wafting up from the unit below
Karaoke and mahjong sessions going on in the next block
Which group will I belong to in future?

Ordinary folks squeezing into buses/trains early each morning
Others navigating their posh cars
Another locked in a timeless sleep
What about me in ten year’s time?

People dig out coins for a cheap meal
While another group of elites flash credit cards
With a minority not even having to pay
My future?

I know I'm not trained in writing poetry, but I just wanna put my thoughts down into words. Hence, kindly pardon me if you think the above sucks. U can jolly well ignore it, to each his own. By the way, I just realised I only had 5 posts published for the year 2006. How pathetic. Ok, so since I've started mentioning, I might as well jot something down. Let's talk about the NYP sex scandal that shook the whole of Singapore, as well as other countries, as some sources claimed. Just my 2 cents worth:

1) Ppl should stop sourcing for videos regarding the couple's intimate act. Heard that there are 4 parts to it. If you have it, keep it to urself and dun spread it to your frenz. It will go like wild fire that will never end if ppl keeps circulating those videos.
2) The couple is not wrong. They filmed it for their own viewing, and it was never once meant for publicity of any kinds. It's just the gal's bad luck that her HP was stolen by her arch enemy. Maybe ppl should start pointing a finger at the gal's enemy for her immoral acts instead of blaming Tammy (the victim) for being loose or whatever.
3) Maybe it's time for us to think if technology is reali that good. Not so long ago, there's a video filmed from a hp circulating around that showed a JC teacher using brute on a student isn't it? Technology in itself is beautiful, but it has been used as threatening and slandering tools instead. So what more surprises are in store for us??
