Phuket trip titbits!!
Hey readers,
Been such a long time since I've blogged. Well, here's the scoop, I shall write all abt my Phuket trip...
Right, Phuket was fun, haven't seen such beautiful beaches before..Though the houses there aren't reali appealing and things like roadside stalls food aren't too clean and hygienic, our resort was not too bad. The room itself was quite small, but the exterior like the swimming pool, garden and lobby looks rather warm and relaxing. The only negative thing is that the whole resort wasn't air-conditioned, and some of the vans we sat in are rather stuffy. But overall, Phuket was very scenic, and that includes Phi Phi Island as well.
The best part abt Phi Phi Island was the snorkelling. The view of the ocean below was simply breathtaking. Once you dip your head into the ocean, you can see schools of colorful fishes (in blue and yellow stripes) swimming past you. The tour guide showed us where the nemo fish was hiding too (though it's black in color), and the few of us idiotically told the tour guide we didn't see it (cos we tot nemo is supposed to be orange, like in the movie "Nemo"). It was later that we realised the nemo fish comes in different species and color. What the hell..I felt disgraced..Too bad we were given only like 20 mins to snorkel, and by the time we decided to venture further into the ocean instead of cuddling around our speedboat, the call was made by the tour guide reminding us that we only have 5 more mins before we were to leave for the next destination.
However, nice pictures were taken to preserve the memories of our 4 days trip. The Simon Cabaret Show (informally termed as "Ah Gua Show") was a different experience as well. How many times in a life will you have a chance to glance thru so many she-males all at once? Haha..The only thing that I somewhat regret was that I didn't have a chance to go back to the shopping area around Patong Beach to get my adidas tee that I've much aimed for since the 1st night there. We didn't manage to shop around the shopping district further down our hotel too as our last night at Phuket was pouring heavily. Thus, it foiled our plans of shopping around after the trip to Phi Phi Island. Patong Beach was ok, however I was down with a flu the day we visited the beach, thus I didn't enjoy myself to the fullest. But still we played with the JetSki and banana boat, though I'm sitting onboard the speedboat instead of the banana boat haha. Wanted to try ParaSailing, but the height scares me. It's at least like 5 storeys high I suppose, and being the timid me, I won't allow myself to go through such torture haha.
But I think my money's well-spent. On the Simon Cabaret and Phi Phi Island tour. The rest of the money's spent buying local products and chocolates (with liquor) in the airport. Haha..Anybody aching for some chocolates, maybe you can try asking me..If i'm in a good mood I'll give you some haha..Be fast though, cos once my bro sees it, it'll be gone soon..Haha..Btw Phuket pics up, enjoy!!
