Life of the past few days
Ok, in chronological order.
On Friday, we had our BBQ, as planned. Just when we were getting excited when we saw the charcoal starting to burn nicely, and the fire starters in its place, which was a cue for placing the food to cook on the barb wire, heaven decided to make sport of us by releasing drops of rain on the peaceful ground of ECP. Well, we did not expect this rain at all, and we were lucky cos there was an umbrella in the boot of my friend uncle's car. Therefore, we frantically opened the umbrella, and tried our best to cover the charcoal for the sake of keeping it dry and burning. That was the most awful sight on earth. Ppl in nearby sheltered huts were staring at us, and I bet laffing their hearts out too, at idiots like us. Though we look like lunatics, but I guess this BBQ will be one that we could not forget. We made alot of bungles on the way, but it was a fun nite out nonetheless. Abt half an hr later, the rain receded, and we thanked God for it. Here's the url of the photos taken during the BBQ, for ur viewing pleasure. Most of the shots look stupid though haha. Click on "View Slideshow" to see the photos at its default pixels, and the captions that comes with it.
Ok sat now. Did some casual surfing, and I have no idea how I ended up reading a 13 yr old gal's blog, but I chanced upon this dollmaker webby, and it was quite fun. U peeps can give it a try, it'll sorta relive ur childhood dream of donning ur barbie doll with the prettiest clothes u can ever find haha. Well, I guess this website reali captures the heart of all gals/woman, since there's a child in every heart. There's no age restriction to this, so just go ahead and flaunt ur dressing skills hehe.
Ok, I'm starting work tmr. Position: Customer Affairs Consultant. Company: Starhub. Right..I do hope it will be fun, though there will be 2 weeks training, to familiarise urself with Starhub's products, and what with all the networking and troubleshooting shit to learn. I shall slp early from tonite onwards haha. Report at 8.30am tmr. Shucks. Anyway, on the way hm from the agency today, I boarded a train full of blood donation adverts pasted all over. "For your information, in Singapore, 40% = O Type blood, 30% = B Type blood, 25% = A Type blood, and 5% = AB Type blood." This was quoted from one of the many ads pasted in the train haha. This adds on a new piece of knowledge for ppl who doesn't have the slightest idea of the percentage of blood types in Singapore, yours truly included, until I came upon this advert. Thank you HSA for educating negligent folks like us.
