Insights into Life and Death

What exactly is Life? And what is Death? I guess there would be no further need to explain the meaning of "Life", as every human being living on Earth would probably tell you about their encounters, how tough their life had been or how carefree it is to be living off a silver spoon. Now let's touch on "Death" then.

Death in itself is a scary word already, not to mention experiencing it yourself, and I am sure 100% of the human population is afraid of death, regardless of whether you are living in luxury or poverty, whether you have an angelic or devilish heart. Now, the thing is, have any of you ever wondered what really will happen after you breathe your last breath on Earth? Will you be banished to Hell cos of your unfavourable character or doings? Or will be be invited to Heaven cos you've been a goody all your life? Will you be reincarnated? Or will you vanish into thin air after the cremation process has ended, along with your soul? Or will you be kept tight in an urn, never to be let out? All these are just a figment of my imagination, of the various scenarios that will happen after a person's life on Earth has ended. But somehow I really wonder if all these rumours about ghosts and such are true. I would also like to know whether we ourselves will be aware that we have died upon death, or it is just that we'll just disappear from the face of Earth after the funeral procession is over. Another thing, does the "other" world really exist?

Let's talk about reincarnation first. It's been said that Life and Death is part of the human's cycle, and that upon death, we'll get reincarnated into another family and live life once again. The cycle will then continue until the end of time. However, on a scientific level, a baby is born from the merger of the sperm and the egg between partners, and gradually after 9 months, the baby's limbs will all be fully developed, waiting to be delivered to Earth. So I don't see how the reincarnation process fits in at all. Unless to say reincarnation means to instill a soul into all these new babies, but which I think is not.

We have gotten alot of silly ideas about how Heaven and Hell will look like, due to dramas and such influencing our thoughts. However, in our subconsciousness, what do we really believe in? I'm sure there are people who will swear that those "things" really exist, cos they've seen or felt it, but can it be that they're too paranoid or that their eyes are playing tricks on them cos they're too tired? There might also be a group of people who thinks that it's silly to believe in paranormal stuffs, and that those people spreading around ghostly hauntings to their friends have nothing better to do.

Well, let's lay the mystery down to peace first. We'll all know the truth on the day we sleep inside a coffin. Touch wood after reading the previous line hehe..Well I've always wondered about what will we be after death, and whether we'll really wander around like lost souls, or scaring innocent folks, so I've decided to put it down in words..Anyway, been a long time since I've blogged, and it seems like a good enough topic to debate about..Hehe...
